Rochdale Sixth Form College is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of IT (with the ability to teach Computer Science) to join our outstanding and high-performing team.

You will deliver engaging and innovative lessons across our IT curriculum, with the opportunity to contribute to the teaching of Computer Science. This is an exciting opportunity to work with ambitious, highly motivated students and play a key role in supporting their academic success and progression to higher education, apprenticeships and employment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge of IT and, ideally, Computer Science
• Can deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
• Is committed to continuous professional development
• Can build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
