Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled senior Software Engineer tolead the software integration automation and performance optimization in ourmetrology platforms. This individual will be the technical leader responsiblefor defining software requirements for automation of motion control andcalibration solutions to improve tool build cycle time reduction.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in metrology andsystem integration with the ability to drive technical direction acrosssoftware, systems, and hardware engineering teams.

 Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization's technical expert for metrology tool software.

• Design and integrate the software automation platform, including calibration and tool build optimization

• Define automated calibration workflows and production calibration strategies.

• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless subsystem integration.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, science related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience developing tool software and controlling hardware sub-systems.
• Strong expertise in C++/C# and object-oriented design, multi-threaded and real-time software development
• Strong expertise in sub-system integration and automation
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues involving software and hardware interactions.
• Demonstrated technical leadership on large engineering programs.
• Experience in Git and AI.
