Role Description & Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
- Direct, demonstrable and recent experience assessing the T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years — Early Years Educator (EYE) pathway.
- Detailed knowledge of the specific occupational specialism, assessment arrangements, awarding organisation processes and relevant industry placement expectations.
- Ability to take over an existing T Level assessment caseload and work independently from the outset
- Experience of workplace observations, learner reviews, progress tracking and employer liaison in relation to this T Level pathway
- Recognised assessor qualification (for example CAVA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent).
- Relevant Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Education or a closely related discipline.
- Current knowledge of early years practice, child development, safeguarding and applicable statutory frameworks.
