Software Engineer (Contract Role)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate microservices in a containerized architecture.
• Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using React 18+.
• Work with Kubernetes and AWS for container orchestration and cloud deployment.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
• Implement ORM and database solutions using Hibernate.
• Work with MySQL and/or MongoDB for application data management.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver effective and responsive web applications.Participate in CI/CD activities using Jenkins.
• Use GitHub for source-code management and JIRA for issue tracking.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Follow modern software engineering practices and open-source development standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

Backend:

• Java / Java EE
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• Hibernate / ORM
• RESTful APIs

Frontend:

• React 18+
• HTML5
• CSS
• Strong UI/UX development experience
• Knowledge of web page design is an advantage

Cloud & DevOps:

• AWS
• Kubernetes
• Containerized application development
• Jenkins / CI/CD
