Research Associate

The Research Associate will work as a research fellow at the Texas Biomedical Device Center. The role supports active projects in recovery from neurological injuries, with a special focus on post-stroke neuroplasticity and motor control. Efforts will involve working with preclinical models and translating findings into pivotal human research trials. The associate will be expected to support ongoing projects related to vagus nerve stimulation and implantable neural devices, while also developing their own innovative ideas for new projects. Candidate will participate in regular meetings with Center researchers and create and maintain constructive collaborations with outside researchers.
