Events & Venue Manager

The Events & Venue Manager serves as the primary operational and logistics point of contact for events (e.g., venue reservations, conferences, educational programs, building-occupant requests, etc.) across Rice University’s BioScience Research Collaborative (BRC) and O'Connor Engineering & Science (OES) buildings. Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations and Administration, this position partners with academic departments, faculty, staff, researchers, external sponsors, and facility teams to plan and execute a high-volume portfolio of events while ensuring compliance with facility requirements, operational standards, and university policies—ranging from executive seminars to multi-day conferences of up to 500 attendees.
