Role Description & Requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Design and build the web-based 3D IFC viewer, from architecture through to implementation
- Research and evaluate open-source libraries and tools, such as IFC parsers and WebGL frameworks
- Develop navigation features, including object selection, section cuts, and property inspection
- Work with backend engineers on server-side geometry processing and data APIs
- Optimise viewer performance for large, complex models
- Refine the viewer based on end-user feedback
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend JS runtimes (e.g. Node.js, Deno)
- Solid grasp of 3D graphics and/or computational geometry concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skill
- Experience in web development (frontend, backend, or full-stack) will be a bonus.
