We build automated inspection and equipment control systems for semiconductor wafer fabs and assembly and test plants, covering device drivers, process flow control, host integration, on-site deployment and long-term support.

The Role

We are looking for a C# Software Engineer to develop reliable software that connects to and controls semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Our software drives hardware directly and runs on live production lines, so careful engineering, robust error handling and thorough testing are essential. You will work closely with our engineering team and travel to customer sites during projects.

What You'll Do

•     Implement equipment workflow control, including immediate stop on fault, persisting machine state, two-way interlock with emergency stop (ESTOP), pause and manual recovery

•     Implement network/socket communication and multithreaded processing for equipment integration

•     Design and implement the local database(SQLite), configuration files, logging and state files

•     Build operator interfaces in Windows Forms, including user roles and permissions, device and host connection status, and multi-language support

•     Develop console applications and tools in C#

•     Write test cases and test reports, take part in code reviews, and complete full regression testing before every release

•     Document code and maintain software documentation

•     Travel to customer sites for installation, UAT, troubleshooting and handover

What We're Looking For

•     Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

•     3+ years of C# software development experience

•     Solid C# and .NET: object-oriented design, interfaces and abstraction, generics, delegates and events, reflection

•     Multithreading and asynchronous programming: thread safety, locking and deadlocks, cancellation and timeouts, and keeping the UI responsive

•     Experience with Windows Forms and console application development

•     Experience with at least one device communication method: Modbus TCP/RTU, serial (RS232/RS485), TCP sockets or a vendor device SDK

•     Relational databases and ORM (Entity Framework /EF Core), with the ability to write SQL

•     Day-to-day use of Git: branching, merging and code review

•     Strong discipline in exception handling and logging

•     Good written and spoken English for design documents, user manuals and communication with customer IT teams

Nice to Have

•     Hands-on experience in a semiconductor fab or assembly and test plant; familiarity with cleanroom protocol

•     SECS/GEM (SEMI E5/E30/E37/E84), or experience integrating with MES or a fab host

•     Able to read PLC programs (Mitsubishi, Siemens or Omron)

•     Machine vision: camera SDKs, image acquisition, lighting and calibration

•     Deploying .NET Core on Linux (Ubuntu)
