E-ACT Parker Academy

The Parker Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated Teacher of Music to inspire our students and nurture their musical talents. We are looking for an individual who can bring music to life in the classroom, encourage creativity and confidence, and foster a love of music across a range of styles and genres. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that enable every student to develop their musical skills, express themselves creatively and reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

• Set high expectations for all students and promote excellent standards of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons which engage, motivate and challenge students.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress using academy and trust assessment systems.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing concerns.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Pay range:

• M1 - UPS3 £34,069 - £52,835
• Considering Full Time or Part Time applicants
• Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised equivalent)
• Degree in subject specialism
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive, purposeful and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
