Specialist Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Location: Christ the King Catholic Primary School, Tedder Avenue, Thornaby, TS17 9HY

Salary: £26,847 - £27,274 pro rata (actual salary: £9,161 - £9,307)

Hours: 15 hours per week, Term Time Only

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant. We are looking for someone who can support the teaching and learning of all our pupils as well as the expertise to support pupils.  

Applications are invited from candidates who have:

1. The ability to establish excellent relationships with children and promoting aspirational achievement and progress for all groups of pupils including children with Special Educational Needs
2. Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
3. A good standard of education including maths and English
4. A teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
5. IT skills
